Semi Gantry Crane Definition

The semi gantry crane is a variant of the traditional gantry crane, with one side designed with supporting legs (usually running along the ground track) and the other side installed on the crane beam of the factory building, similar to the installation method of the brugkraan. The lifting mechanism, trolley running mechanism and bridge structure of the semi-gantry crane are also basically the same as those of the bridge crane. This design can make more full use of the pillars and bracket structure of the factory building, save production space, and have a more flexible layout.

Semi-gantry cranes can also work together with bridge cranes in the same workshop to further optimize space utilization and work efficiency.
